Day Three: Forging the Bonds of Love
Basically, this is a play-through of the PC game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but in a non-linear fashion. I am playing the game as if I was an average Nord, kind of like an NPC (Non Player Character) being thrown into the position of the Dragonborn, and I’m acting and reacting like a normal Nord would.
Yesterday, I investigated Embershard Mine, not far from Riverwood. I ended up killing about a hundred bandits (not really, only eight), finding thousands of gold pieces (not really, only about 200) and reached level 100 (not really, only level 2).
At 5am, my body clock goes off and I rise from bed. Just like yesterday, I walk out of my room to see Sven playing his… Drum? Well, it’s a pleasant change, that’s for sure! But I still have never seen him sleep. Perhaps he’s a vampire? I say good morning to Orgnar and buy some food from him. I pick myself up some baked potatoes (they look like good breakfast food) and some cooked beef and grilled pheasant breast. The pheasant looks pleasant, and the beef looks neat. I try my hand at mixing some ingredients from yesterday, but unfortunately nothing I mix seems to create any potions. I feel kinda lousy, but I leave the inn to head over to see if Lucan is open yet.
